A US study has found that more than three-fourths of the children in America drink caffeine daily.
Researchers from the University of Nebraska Medical Center studied more than 200 children aged five to 12 through routine visits. Parents were asked to gauge how much caffeine the children drank in their snack and beverages. They were also asked to monitor their child’s sleep hours.
According to sources, the average intake of caffeine for children increased compared to 10 years ago.
The problem here is that caffeine is linked to lesser hours of sleep, making it a serious health concern for children.
