Teva seeks to market generic version of Nuvigil | 
Last Wednesday, Cephalon Inc. notified Teva Pharmaceuticals has filed an application to the United States (US) Food and Drug Administration to seek approval to market Nuvigil.
Nuvigil is a sleep disorder drug, which can improve obstructive sleep apnea. It is actually an improved version of Cephalon’s Provigil, another sleep disorder drug.
In its application, Teva Pharmaceuticals says that Cephalon patents for Nuvigil are “invalid invalid, unenforceable and/or will not be infringed by the product described in Teva’s submission.”
According to reports, the company is now reviewing the notice letter.
