Sleep disorders, depression, and how to avoid them  | read this item

Sleep disorders are now being linked to psychological illness. In fact, according to the German Association for Psychiatry and Psychotherapy (DGPPN), it can lead to depression.

Sleep disorders can also lead to obesity and even diabetes.

People who suffer from this condition need to consult a general practitioner, who can provide the necessary medication for treatment.

More often than not, the cause of sleep disorders can be traced to a person’s life style. Stress and excess amounts of alcohol are some leading reasons.

To avoid these disorders, a person needs to have a regular sleeping rhythm—which in some cases is more important than the amount of sleep hours.

There are things that you should look out for, like avoiding television during late hours. Television screens and computer monitors can trigger the production of a hormone, which is used to regulate the body’s night and day rhythm. Its untimely production can easily disrupt your body clock.
