In Oklahoma, the Integris Bass Baptist Health Center has opened the Integris Sleep Institute of Enid at the Integris Bass Pavilion.

The sleep center is located at a newly renovated, state-of-the-art facility in the third floor of the Pavilion.

The facility offers high-tech testing for patients diagnosed with a variety of sleep disorders, like sleep apnea, narcolepsy, insomnia, etc.

Running the clinic will be sleep center director Ginger Gallaway, who will be working closely with Dr. Nadim Daher—a pulmonologist and sleep specialist. The two individuals said that they are excited about the new facility.

“Sleep is vital to our health,” says Anita Andrew, hospital spokeswoman. “The more sleep we miss, the more detrimental, so when the sleep we do get is fragmented is spells real trouble.”

Statistics indicate that more than 40 million Americans suffer from disturbed sleep and more than 79 percent of these cases are left undiagnosed.
