Tired of getting fewer and fewer sleep hours? Well, there are several adjustments you can do to regulate that body clock.
Regular sleeping habits are important for daily functioning. Disturbed sleep patterns can result to exhaustion. Disturbed sleep is attributed to many factors, but most of the time it’s due to stress.
To avoid this, find the time to exercise and avoid late night television.
In adjusting your body clock, some doctors would suggest for you to sleep one hour later than usual. Waking up at the same time in the morning also greatly helps in regulating your sleep hours.
It is also important to fight off the urge to sleep during the daytime. At first, this might increase exhaustion, but let it build up and your body clock will then adjust to better sleep regulation.
Also, be consistent. Sleep cycles are slow to change, especially those that have been there for a long time.
