Many Americans suffer from sleep apnea, a sleep disorder characterized by interrupted breathing during sleep. When this happens, one’s quality of life suffers.
In an effort to raise awareness about sleep apnea, Dr. Christopher Manfredi will be conduction a free public lecture on April 27 at the Perkin Auditorium of Norwalk Hospital. Dr. Manfredi is a renowned sleep expert and pulmonologist.
He will discuss risk factors and preventive measures of sleep apnea. He will also be conducting a question and answer portion after the session.
The program will be part of Norwalk Hospital’s community service series.
