New sleep support group opened in Pennsylvania  | read this item

A new sleep disorder support group is being opened at the Chambersburg Hospital lecture center, 112 N. Seventh St. The group will be hosted by the hospital’s sleep disorders specialists.

The opening of sleep centers and support groups highlights the growing concern for sleep disorders. With many unidentified cases around the world, these groups and centers would help reduce the number. Sleep disorders are linked to deaths and accidents, which makes it a threat to anyone who has it.

Sleep disorders are commonly underestimated by many, but, when they are left untreated, they could cause a lot of side effects. Raising awareness will be one way to minimize the problems.

The first meeting of the sleep disorder support group will take place on November 5. For more information, call 709-47-64.
