A sleep apnea testing center opened in Huber Health Center last July.
“Physician Sleep Diagnostic Centers North has four beds for performing sleep disorders testing including the most common sleep problem-obstructive sleep apnea or OSA,” described Jerry O’Ryan, who is the facility’s president and chief marketing officer.
The facility will also have other experts that specialize in the field to perform sleep testing seven nights a week.
The state-of-the-art sleep center is a joint venture with Kettering Health Network, physicians in the area, and O’Ryan.
Sleep apnea is becoming a serious concern in America. The condition is linked to obesity, diabetes, high-blood pressure, and even heart diseases.
Since the condition is not that popular, most people don’t know they have it. Diagnosis is the most important factor in curing the condition. Physician Sleep Diagnostic Centers North hopes that it will make an immediate impact in its area.
