Texting, watching television, and internet surfing. These are a teenager’s late-night activities.
At first glance, they seem harmless. But, recent studies suggest that it can result in sleep disorders.
Based on the research by the Sleep Disorder Center at JKF Medical Center, teenagers who use electrical devices late at night have more chances of developing sleep disorders compared to teenagers who don’t. The New Jersey-based sleep center conducted the study on 40 boys and 40 girls.
The study also linked late-night electronic media use to ADHD, mood swings, and even depression.
