Football player undergoes sleep apnea surgery | 
Local reports confirm that Houston Texans DE Mario Williams had sleep apnea surgery last month.
The surgery is considered a ‘minor procedure’ and Texans OL Antoine Caldwell had a similar surgery performed during the offseason.
Sleep apnea is a sleep disorder characterized by paused breathing during sleep. Each episode is called an apnea.
In most cases, people with sleep apnea are unaware that they have it. More often than not, it is the persons they sleep with that are the first to notice their sleep disorders.
