[PR Log] –  Mathew E. Ennis, a Springfield, Missouri based nonprofit development professional, has been selected to serve on the National Advisory Board of The Infant & Children Sleep Apnea Awareness Foundation.

Founded in 2008 by the Brearey family of New Smyrna Beach, Florida, the foundation is dedicated to bringing national awareness to infant and children sleep apnea, sudden infant death syndrome and pediatric pulmonary issues.

“I am pleased to offer my support to this outstanding organization. In such a short time they have already done so much to advance the understanding and treatment of sleep disorders in our children,” said Ennis. “With an estimated ten-million individuals currently battling undiagnosed sleep disorders, there is no doubt that we can make significant strides when these issues are detected during childhood.  The goal is to bring awareness of childhood sleep disorders to the forefront while creating opportunities for education, research and treatment breakthroughs.”

Matthew Ennis is a nationally recognized expert in the areas of nonprofit development and administration.  Throughout his career, he has shared his expertise with many local and national nonprofits on a variety of levels.  Ennis will offer his support in the areas of fundraising development, board development, public relations and the national expansion of the foundation.
