Drowsy Driving Deaths Increase - Cache County Goes Public | 
Cache County is taking its message public: driving while texting can kill. This comes on the heels of a traffic accident that killed one teenager last week, most likely caused by texting while driving. Their goal is to educate the public. The county hasn’t had a death from a DUI since 2001. But just in the past ten months alone, six people have died from drowsy driving in cache county. Two of those were from distracted driving. At least one death was from texting while driving.
Last Tuesday night, a 19 year-old died after being thrown from his car.
