If you find yourself drowsy during work hours, then you might have Sleep Work Disorder (SWD).
This sleep disorder occurs when a person’s body clock is out-of-sync with the person’s work schedule. This is most common among employees who work during non-traditional hours (night shifts).
SWD can result in extreme drowsiness and difficulty in sleeping and waking.
With more than 14 million Americans working non-traditional work schedules, about 4 million are at the risk of getting SWD.
