One of the most common sleep disorders is Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA). It is characterized by interrupted sleep, prominent snoring, and excessive drowsiness during daytime.

Most of the time, the symptoms are noticed by the people around you—especially when it comes to snoring and abnormal breathing patterns.

There are also associated characteristics for people who have sleep apnea. Commonly, they are overweight and instantly fall asleep in an instant during daytime. Since they are not getting enough sleep, it affects their temperament—resulting in bad relationships in the work place and even at home.

Clinical research has also proven that OSA increase chances for hypertension, heart attack, and heart failure.

Most sleep apnea patients suffer from migraines upon waking. Science tells us that their sleep at night is not as deep as those without sleep apnea.
