Britons are losing sleep over financial problems.
A recent survey conducted by Travelodge showed that a Briton usually get six hours and 21 minutes a night. This is a great reduction compared to the recommended eight hours of sleep per night.
The poll, which was conducted on 6,000 adults, says that the country could be losing £1 billion annually from sick days taken by employees.
“Although we are coming out of recession Brits are still worried about money and work issues, which is fuelling this sleep disorder,” explained Steve Williams from the Edinburgh Sleep Centre.
