If you’re still tossing and turning to get that perfect position in your bed, then you should invest in a Sleep to Live custom-fitted mattress.
Kingsdown, a N.C.-based company, has created the first mattress that adapts to the size of a sleeper.
“Mattress Firm partnered with Sleep to Live (an operating brand of Kingsdown) and successfully sold over $100,000 worth of mattresses at four home shows, so we decided to carry it in our stores,” explained Ryon Vinson, president of Mattress Firm at Shallowford Road.
The mattress comes with a computer unit that analyzes weight distribution, posture, and other factors that determine what type of custom mattress will work for a person.
“The device measures four anatomical zones, takes 18 statistical measurements, and performs over 1,000 mathematical calculations,” explained Nicole Van Ruden, a national account sales trainer for Sleep to Live.
The unit can even measure two sleepers in one bed, allowing for different settings for each side.
“It would be great to quit spending all this money on mattresses,” commented Van Ruden. “Consumers are really frustrated with having to walk in and choose from a sea of white mattresses. This is making it a lot easier; it’s tested, and we’re not just picking a number out of a hat.”
